Perfect for homemade ice cream

Regular salt will help with making ice cream, but a nice coarse rock salt makes a difference. By mixing it with the outer chamber, it lowers the freezing temp for your water and results in making your ice cream a bit faster!I like that the salt comes in a resealable bag, although I personally transferred a good amount to a container. Either way, with 5lbs, this should last a while. Very pleased.

Great salt for multiple uses.

Coarse salt that can be used for anything because it is food grade. You can’t go wrong with this salt. It is high quality and priced well. We use this for our ice cream maker and other things too.

Good coarse rock salt

It's sometimes hard to find the right level of salt grind for a good long-lasting bucket brine when you're trying to make homemade ice cream. This seems to have nailed the size perfectly so that it dissolves quick enough to keep the water as a strong brine solution, but not so quick that it acts as an aggressive ice-melt solution that causes your ice brine solution to completely melt all the ice before the cream has a chance to harden up.
